With an exciting week of action in the book that featured the play of year made by the Commanders, Jets fans loose all hope, and the lions score more points in one game than the titans have all year long its important to look back and breakdown the biggest winners and losers of the weekend.

Winners

·       The Buffalo Bills- In a game that has not gotten the attention it deserves the Bills dominated the Seahawks on the field and in the stands. Geno Smith even commented that at times Lumens Field felt like an away game. Josh Allen continues to role and even after throwing his first INT of the year he made play after play showcasing his improved accuracy and growing connection with Keon Coleman. The Bills have as many wins as the rest of the AFC East and Josh should be considered a candidate for MVP.

·       The Detroit Lions- Dan Campbell and company continue to embarrass opponents as they put up 52 points with under 100 yards passing. The Titans tied the game at 14 and from there got raced out of Ford Field as their special teams were simply atrocious. Jared Goeff continued to shine when he was needed as the Lions have become the top dog in the NFC headed to a showdown with division rival Green Bay.

·       The Washington Commanders- Jayden Daniels is much watch TV and aside from horrible redzone production they moved the ball well against a stout Bears defense. Add that to the fact that God may just be on their side as they completed a miraculous Hail Mary to get a huge win and claim the top spot in their division and Commanders fans have hope for the first time in decades.

·       Sliding- It is important to note that Tua scrambled today and finally after 13 concussions figured out the importance of sliding as he received a standing ovation for not trying to run through a middle linebacker.

Losers

·       The Chicago Bears Coaching Staff- They have to know they are fired right? At this point they are just coaching as a tryout for a future team as their decision making and play calling highlight the dysfunction of this franchise. In a situation where you need a TD to go ahead in a game where nothing has gone right no one in their right mind thinks “hand it to the backup lineman”. Follow that up with a lack of discipline and decision making during the Hail Mary and there is no chance they stick around this offseason.

·       New York Jets fans- I haven’t witnessed a group of people cope harder than this since I witnessed my friends in college get rejected at a bar. Last year they were a quarterback away, then this year it was the head coach holding them back, they needed Davante Adams, and Haason Reddick needed to come back all for them to lose to a Patriots team actively trying to lose! Aaron Rodgers’ antics are only fun when he is playing MVP level football but couple those with the product he is putting on the field and it is all around a bad time.

·       Anthony Richardson Defenders- Someone has got to work on his ability to lie to the media. Coming out of the game during a third and goal because you are tired doesn’t even sound real in high school, let alone in the NFL! In a game that ended up being decided by three points that play is huge and HE IS A RUNNING QUARTERBACK HE SHOULD BE IN SHAPE TO RUN! He cannot throw the ball (2/15 in the first half) so his biggest asset is his legs and that can not happen. It is getting tough for the Colts to keep defending him.

·       Panthers Fans- At this point making jokes and highlighting how bad the Panthers are isn’t even fun. If you know or see a Panthers fan give them a huge and tell them you are here for them if they need to cry.
