It feels necessary to post this blog and highlight the high-quality football that is continuously coming out of the FCS. If you are not familiar with the FCS this division features powerhouse programs like South Dakota State and Montana and have produced household names like Christian Watson, Dallas Goedert, Cooper Kupp, and Rashid Shaheed (fastest name in football). Let’s take a look at three games that can showcase what FCS football is all about.

Must Watch: North Dakota State versus South Dakota State

This was an absolute no-brainer as this game features number 1 versus number 2. Cam Miller has been dominating this year through the air and showing off his legs as well. This team is always in contention and brings a well-balanced approach that can bully you on defense or run up the score on offense. South Dakota State sits atop the FCS ranking and just boat raced Youngstown State 63-13. Look for Chance Mason to keep dominating on the ground and follow-up his 161-yard game with another big performance. Regardless if you have a dog in the fight, this game promises to deliver.

Offensive game of the Week: Missouri State versus Indiana State

Before scrolling past this thinking it is clickbait hear me out, Jacob Clark is playing some of the best football in the FCS. Even with Missouri State’s pending move to Conference USA the Bears are playing great football. Clark has eight passing touchdowns in the past three games and has shown no signs of slowing down. Indiana State is no pushover but look for the MSU offense to keep rolling and put up a big number on offense as they play in front of the homecoming crowd.

Late Night Treat: Weber State versus Sacramento State

Kicking off at 9 pm eastern time this game features two teams on the opposite ends of the spectrum in the Big Sky Conference. Sacramento State has received mountains of publicity with their funding efforts and bid to join the Mountain West but lets look to see if their play can emulate their desires. Weber State is still well within reach of the Big Sky title and would like to right the ship after losing to North Colorado. This game will feature two teams looking to get back on track and is worth checking out on ESPN+.
